Abstract

The aim of this article is to identify and briefly examine the legal issues that arose out of the BP oil spill (also known as Deepwater Horizon oil spill) in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 which resulted in loss of life and adversely affected the shore of Florida, United States of America through environmental damage and cost in livelihood to firms and families.
