Abstract

Professor M.G. Bridge (University of Nottingham) explores a number of questions relating to cost insurance and freight contracts (known as cif contracts) in particular the problems arising from the separation of rights in relation to goods from rights in relation to documents and what is meant by a “conforming” contract. Article published in Amicus Curiae - Journal of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and its Society for Advanced Legal Studies.
