Abstract

The author considers the latent inter-relationship between two of the most significant and challenging legal issues confronting human society today. Article by Olusoji Elias, Member of the International Bar Association, based on a seminar presentation given by the author at the Human Rights Unit of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Divison, Commonwealth Secretariat in July 1999.
