Abstract

Article based on an address given at the Sixteenth International Symposium on Economic Crime by Rosalind Wright, the Director of the Serious Fraud Office, who asks “what is wrong with the present system of trying serious and complex fraud cases?” Published as part of the Symposium report section of Amicus Curiae - Journal of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and its Society for Advanced Legal Studies. The Journal is produced by the Society for Advanced Legal Studies at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London.
