Abstract

As financial services gain strongly in their significance to the European economy, the European Union has put a legislative structure in place, the author charts its progress. Article by Christopher Bovis (Visiting Professor, Queen’s University Belfast and Deputy Director, Institute of European Law, Hull University) published in Amicus Curiae - Journal of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and its Society for Advanced Legal Studies. Those who contribute items to Amicus Curiae retain author copyright in their work but are asked to grant two licences.
