Abstract

Nick Johnson of the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice gives an overview of developments in legal education in the UK and assesses the role of the Law Society of England and Wales in supporting an increase in what he sees as an important “cross-pollination” of academic and vocational education. Note published in Amicus Curiae - Journal of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and its Society for Advanced Legal Studies. The Journal is produced by the Society for Advanced Legal Studies at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London.
