Abstract

In this article Professor Maria De Benedetto (Roma Tre University, Italy; IALS Visiting Fellow) considers the range of measures available to counter corruption in public administration. She emphasises the need to take corruption assessment seriously and describes the role of anti-corruption controls, good rules and good practices, to achieve better regulation, based on robust gathering of evidence and effective planning of controls.
